On June 23, 1985, the City of Gresham, Oregon and City of Sokcho, South Korea have established sister city relationship for the promotion of mutual friendship and cultural exchange.  Since 1985 we have ongoing exchange programs, especially student exchange program which had benefited so many students from both Gresham and Sokcho.  On 2015, we have celebrated our 30th anniversay and delicated the following commemorative bench at the main park of Gresham.
